Jillian and her fiancé Matt have quite a menagerie at home. The couple recently adopted Max, a beagle/bulldog mix. They also are parents to Charlie, a border collie/German shorthaired pointer mix, and Cat Cora, a 23-toed cat. The small urban farm they live at also includes two chickens, Loretta and Gigi; Jillian and Matt plan to add two more chicks in spring 2016.

Matt, an environmental lawyer, and Jillian, a professional editrix, live in East Lansing, Michigan.
